A2. Yes - we can tailor a training package to suit your requirements.

A3. Just under 100.

Q4. How many disposal/treatment locations does Polkacrest have?
A4. We have two locations:
Edmonton with three clinical waste autoclave plants and domestic waste incineration.
Enfield with two microwave treatment plants.

Q5. How many vehicles do Polkacrest operate?
A5. About 35.

Q6. What types of vehicle do Polkacrest operate?
A6. Clinical waste vehicles adapted to carry UN approved containers or loss bags and boxes.
We also operate Rolonof vehicles for domestic waste collection.

Q7. Have I got enough volume to use your collection services?
A7. We try to accommodate all producers of clinical waste but it will depend on your location.

Q8. Can I use my own wheeled bins within your service?
A8. As we operate a pooling system for bin exchanging, unfortunately this is not possible, but there are alternatives we can discuss with you.

Q9. Can I choose the type of collection service I want?
A9. Yes, just call us to discuss needs with us.

Q10. Is special waste collected on the same vehicle as normal clinical waste?
A10. No - this is collected by a dedicated vehicle.

Q11. Do you complete all special waste documentation?
A11. We can do if you would like us to do so, no problem, it's your choice.

Q12. Will you issue me with a waste transfer note?
A12. Yes annually.

Q13. Do you supply sharps boxes, bags, drums and other consumables?

Q14. How does Polkacrest weigh the clinical waste?
A14. Either by the vehicle load or by individual bins.
